Adult Driver Training Policy

Trainees must be 18 years of age or older.
A valid instruction permit or a non-expired driver’s license is required to participate in any in-car training session.
Students must present their valid permit or license at the start of each lesson.

Students are expected to arrive at least 10 minutes before their scheduled lesson time.
Arriving 10 minutes late or showing up without the required permit or documentation will be considered a no-show, and a cancellation fee will apply.
Students appearing under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be dismissed immediately without a refund.

Cancellations or rescheduling made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a cancellation fee, which may be up to 100% of the lesson cost.
Students cancelling due to illness or emergency must provide official documentation or evidence to avoid cancellation fees.
The school reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to vehicle maintenance, instructor illness, scheduling conflicts, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, SDA may offer a refund or an alternate session.

Full payment is required at the time of registration or booking.
Any remaining balance must be paid promptly upon receiving an invoice.
Unpaid or late payments may result in collection actions, and the student will be responsible for any associated fees.
No refunds will be issued for students dismissed for violating school policies or state driving laws.

Students must follow all traffic laws and instructor directions during lessons.
Unsafe or unlawful behavior may result in termination of training without refund.

Pick-up and drop-off are available only within designated service zones.
Students must be ready at the agreed-upon location and time.
All communication regarding pick-up must be done via SMS or phone call with the assigned instructor or SDA office.
Failure to be present at the scheduled pick-up time may result in lesson forfeiture and applicable fees.

Seattle Driving Academy reserves the right to:

Modify or update these policies at any time.
Refuse service to anyone who does not comply with SDA’s policies or exhibits unsafe or inappropriate behavior.
